THEFT FROM CO-OPERATIVE STORE. GOOD HAUL OF CLOTHING. ' Further details of the theft from the Kaupokonui Co-operative Co.’s store, which was- broken into last week, have been obtained by the New Plymouth police, who,slate that over £IOO worth of goods were taken, including about £SO of cigarettes and tobacco. Following is an inventory of the missing articles: Five pairs of men’s boots (size 7); one pair lady’s suede shoes (size 5); two leather suit-cases; two navy serge suits (size 5 and (J); one brown check worsted suit (size 5); one dark grey cloth suit (size 4); two navy nap overcoats; two canvas oilskins; two Ivaiapoi rugs; and various underwear. The loot appears to have been removed in the suit-cases and a sack which was stolen, and the theft is considered to be the work of more than one individual. if No search was apparently made for money, which was overlooked, the tills not having been interfered With. — Herald.
