On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Dudley celebrated the 50th year of their marriage, states the Opunake Times. The marriage took place at Tologa Bay. M.r E. J. Dudley was associated with' the A.C. Force in the early days. Mr. and- Mrs. Dudley have practically spent the whole of their married life in the country, anu are counted with the- early pioneers in the Opunake district, having resided there 43 years. A vote of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr. Harry Hamilton was massed: at the general committee meeting of the Egmont A. and P. Association at Hawera this afternoon, the meeting standing in silence-.
