TARANAKI CLUB
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. At the monthly meeting of the recently formed Ayrshire Club, held at New Plymouth yesterday, it xvas decided to name the club the Taranaki Ayrshire Cattle Breeders’ Club. There were present Messrs \V. Hall (chairman), R. W. D. Robertson, J. O. Morton, A. Weir, and W. P. Okey (secretary). Rules for the club xx’ere adopted and will be submitted to a general meeting of members. $ It was decided to circularise farmers and others interested in Ayrshire cattle for the purpose, of increasing membership. Subscriptions for honorary members will be ten shillings. A proposal to hold a demonstration at the chairman’s farm at Lepperton was considered, and April 22 xx-as the date tentatively ai-ranged for the demonstration. It xvas decided to hold meetings on the last Friday of each month, and that the. financial year xvoulcl close on March 31. __
