So spite of all Dame Clara Butt Says of the girls who buster cut, And others as illustrious Who quite sincerely raise a fuss ’Gainst modem maids, the flood is wide That’s sweeping down on manly pride, As it is rising every day, In every place, in every way, And riding on the crest we see Woman, triumphant, proud and free.
