STOCK MARKET REPORT. Messrs Newton King, Ltd., report as under:— Stratford sale, ..Tuesday, 16th—We report a good yarding of cattle, the major portion of which were sold under the hammer. Sheep were yarded insmall lots, and were all cleared! Quotations: F.M. ewes 11s 9d. cull lambs 9s 3d to 9s 9d, better sorts 13s 3d, woolly lambs 16s, forward, cows £3 19s to £5 ss. store cows £1 10s to £2 17s 6(1. works bulls £2 10s to £3 ss. Olmra supplementary sheep fair and cattle sale. —We report a good yarding of sheep, and. with jjhe exception o f one line, a full clearance. All classes of sheep, with the exception of lambs, were in great demand, and a most satisfactory sale resulted. Douglas sale, Monday, 22nd.—Sheep came forward in fully advertised numbers. A large number of buyers were present, and we report a very satisfactory- sale.
