STEAMER AND COAL CARGO. IA IPROV IS ED FUN X EL. LONDON. Marcli 3. Finding the Norwegian steamer Joiiaune Dybwad (2726 tons), whose funnel had gone and whose wheelhouse, bridge, ana boats had been smashed, abandoned in mid-Atlantic, the captain of the American steamer West Ira (GB7U tons) placed 13 volunteers a board. The ship was loaded with 3000 tons of anthracite coal, and the volunteers ingeniously improvised a smoke-stack by connecting ventilators with the boilers, and raised steam, attaining a speed of four knots. The Johanne Dybwad alternately steamed and was towed 1100 miles to Falmouth, where it was learned that the Norwegian crew had been taken off and landed in New York
