Steady rain fell throughout, and the course, which was good.-at the start, became heavy as the afternoon progressed. The attendance was fair. The totalisator investments totalled £10,249 10s, against £11,119 10s for the first- day last year. Results: Autumn Hurdles, one mile and a half.—l Wharncliffe (W.
