That is why a child is more likely to contract diphtheria or scarlet fever when ho has a cold. Pneumonia is also a germ disease and is contracted in a similar manner. The longer the cold hangs on the greater the danger. Chamberlain s Cough Remedy being an expectorant cleans out these culture beds and in that way prevents pneumonia and other gem diseases.
