At a special meeting of Eltham Borough Council on Friday night it was decided, subject to certain restrictions, to permit the erection of kerbside petrol pumps, with a license fee of £2 10s per pump per annum. It was also decided to restrict the number of pumps l to one for each business premises. The council decided to request the Railway Department to instal a warning signal at the Bridge Street crossing.—Argus.
