It -is officially announced that the president of the Barcelona. Bar; who was recently appointed by the Government to that post, called to. see the Prime Minister and the Minister of Justice and informed them that he declined to accept the appointment on account of his political connections. He was to'd that the appointment was compulsory, and that the Barcelona Bar mast obey orders. The official announcement added that the Government was- determined to 'issue a. decree that all refusing to love-Spain will lose their rights of citizenship, also their rights to follow their profession, and will have Their property confiscated. —Reuter. . - .
