COMMERCIAL.
KAPONGA SALE,. Messrs Newton King, Ltd., report having held their usual monthly sale at Kaponga on Friday last, when a good number of buyers attended. The yards were packed with cattle, some of- which were brought as far afield as Matapu, Manaia and Te Kiri. Prices were about on. a par with late rates, arid the whole yarding was quitted. Quotations were as follows :—Fat lambs, 22s 6d ; store lambs, 11s 7d to 13s 6d; pigs, 15s to 31s 6d; wearier calves, 12s to £2 ss: cull cows, £1 to £2'os; works cows,, £2 10s to £4; fat cows, £4 10s to £5 10s : bulls, £3 to £4 12s 6d.

Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per s.s. Port Pixie and Pakehri.
DUNEDIN WOOL SALES
DUNEDIN, March 10.
The advance in wool value® which' up. to yesterday was, somewhat indefinite was quite manifest when the Dunedin series was resumed! this morning, a modest estimate being from -id to Id all round.
