Stratford’s light was again unsatisfactory oil Tuesday night, the trouble being'caused through a break down at the- power station. This was rectified in a short time. The new system again gave trouble, as well as the old one, and the light became very bad. As this has happened on several occasions lately, there is naturally a good deal of criticism from business people and others. Approached on the subject this morning, .his Worship the Mayor, Mr J. W. McMillan, informed a Stratford Post reporter that the trouble was caused at. New Plymouth, and was due to shortage of wafer for generating. In order to conserve the supply, the jjower for the district was reduced and sometimes even out out. — Post.
