BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. / MELBOURNE, March 5. In the Federal by-election for the Eden-Monaro electorate, due to the death of Sir Austin Chapman, the Nationalist candidate,. Mr. Perkins, at present has a majority of more than 600 over his Labour opponent, and his election seems assured.
