GERMAN EX-ROYALTIES.

OWNERSHIP OF PROPERTIES,

ONLY PRIVATE HOLDINGS ALLOWED.

8 Y t CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. i LONDON, March 7.

The Daily Express’s Berlin correspondent states that Dr. Luther, before going to Geneva, persuaded his Cabinet colleagues to accept a compromise on the question of the Hohenzollern properties, leaving the ex-Royalties only their genuine private properties, all possessions received by virtue of former positions, including the ex-Crown Prince’s castle and estate at Oels, and all royally founded art galleries, gardens, museums and libraries reverting to the State.

The decision is made retrospective to supersede legal findings.
