OPUNAKE SITTING. A sitting, of the Magistrate’s Court at Opunake was held yesterday, Colonel R; W. Tate, S.M., presiding. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in each of the following undefended civil cases: Richards and McKinley v. M. .Bishop £4 15s (costs £1 5s 6d). E. F. Loesch v. J. H, Magee £3 18s 8d (£1 19s 6d), B. Duffy v. Jacob Harrison £3 15s (£1 3s), Hughson’s, Ltd., v. S. Hopkins £25 12s 9d (£3 19s 6d). J. H. Magee, against whom W. C. Aitken took proceedings on a- judgment summons, was ordered to pay £lO Us 9d forthwith, or in default to undergo 10 days’ imprisonment.
