Bryant and Pereival from the party for having voted against the Government of New South Wales on the Abolition of the Legislative Council Bill. Both members had tendered their resignations which, however, the executive preferred to ignore. Pour other members who were absent from the Council when the vote was taken were called upon to show cause; why they also should not be expelled.
