The possibility of Dominion representatives being included in the House of Lords when the latter is reformed, thus making an Imperial House, was raised bv Lord Strathspey in the. House of lands.

He suggested that the Imperial Conference would provide an opportunity to ascertain the opinions of the Dominions’ Premiers on the niatte-jv Lord Strathspey asked if serious thought and consideration was being given to the conference.

Lord Salisbury, replying, gave an assurance that the occasion would he treated with all the seriousness- it demanded. The Government anticipated that the discussions and- conclusions would .yie’d the greatest benefit to Britain and the Empire.
