NEW HAWERA PREMISES TENDER ACCEPTED FOR WORK. OLD BUILDING TO BE DEMOLISHED AT ONCE. (By Telegraph.—Special to the Star.) WELLINGTON, March 2. The directors' of the Bank of Australasia have ‘decided, to proceed with the erection of new premises m High Street Hawera, on the site at present occupied; and the tender of Mr. Arthur Brown, of Hawera, has been accepted for the work. The tepdering was very close. , , ... The demolition of the present building will be proceeded with immediately, and business in the meantime will be transacted in the old Bank of New Zealand premises in Princes Street.
