NAPIER WOOL SALE. PRICES SHOW ADVANCE. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NAPIER, Feb. 24. Ninety per cent, of the catalogue, of about 20,000 bales was sold under the hammer at the fourth wool sale of the season in Napier to-day , when prices, taken all round, showed an improvement of par to a halfpenny on the Auckland rates. Bidding- was particuuiy spirited, and competition was keen. „ , . . For good classes or wool America operated freely at advanced limits. Bradford Was 'a strong competitor for top-making sorts, whilst the Continent pushed the prices for pieces and There was a better demand for .lambs wool, mainly from the Continent. Growers generally are very well satisfied with the prices ruling. The range of prices was:
