OBJECTION TO A BILL. BY CABLE—PRESS 4 SSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Feb. 21, 12.55 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 21. There is a movement afoot to petition the Governor protesting against the Arbitration Amendment Bill now before the Legislative Council, on the ground that it seeks to exclude the 191,7 loyalist unions. The petition, which has been drawn up, points out that the Bill, if made law, would automatically extinguish the life of industrial unions not included . in the schedule attached to the Bill. The petition contends that the Bill is a violation of the established principles and spirit of British law.
