LITTLE BEDROOM HINTS.
To P reserve a Tooth Brush. —Before you use a new tooth brush, soak it in not salt water. This not only cleanses it, but makes it last twice as long. Care of Mirrors. —A pad made of newspapers makes a good polisher for mirrors. Methylated spirit and whit-, ng will remove any marks and give > brilliant polish. Ivory-backed Toilet Sets. —Lemon mice and salt will clean and whiten .hese. Hair Brushes. —Wash brushes freiiiently in hot water to which a little soda has been added, taking care that ally the bristles are in the water. Hi use throughly in cold water, shake nd dry in the open air. not before a ire.
The Care of Sponges.—Sponges beome hard and shrink if put into very •ot water. When new they should he ■oaken far some days in rain water, ’lid squeezed frequently to rid them of .11 y grit. An exce’lont cleaning solu'ion is made with an ounce of enrbonte of soda added to a pint of warm 'not hot! water. The sponge is left n soak in, this for a day, then ly rinsed in col&, clear water . £
