11l the House of Commons, replying to the Marquis of Huntington, Sir Austin Chamberlain said that Cabinet was communicating with the dominions ■ l witli reference to the question of additional members on the league council, and would continue to do so on all future applications. Mr. J. Wedgwood (Labour): “Don’t you think Canada’s representation on the council is as important to the peace of the world as tlie representation of Brazil?” Sir Austin Chamberlain deprecated invidious comparisons, but said that the desires and aspirations of the dominions had the Ministry’s sympathy. —Aus. and N.Z.
