CTREN DEFEATS HALL. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. SYDNEY, Feb. 14. At the Stadium, Havilah Uren defeated Joe Hall. The latter was disqualified for delivering a low punch in the second round. A GERMAN CONTEST. BERLIN, Feb. 14. A 10 rounds’ boxing contest between Paoline and Franz Diener (Germany) was drawn. Fifteen thousand spectators watched the fight. in which Diener was superior in ringcraft. This was counterbalanced by the force of Paoline’s blows. Both took merciless punishment unflinchingly.
