MOTOR CYCLING.
HAWERA HANDICAPS. Splendid fields and well-contested races are assured for the Mawera Motor Cycling Club’s annual meeting on Wednesday next. The track, under the capable supervision of Mr. All. Morse, is rapidly improving. A special feature of this year’s meeting will be the classic invitation race, which will be limited to the seven fastest machines of the day. Coleman, Moller, Managh, McCready, Maugham, and all the popular riders will be competing during the afternoon, and the handicaps for the first two races are as under. (All riders are subject to rehandicapping, and changes will be announced on the ground by medium of the magnavox. Handicaps for the later races will be declared on the ground).
