PETITION,
(From Our Own Correspondent.) At a meeting of the Manaia branch of the New Zealand; Farmers’ Union on Saturday,, it was decided, that the judging of the lucerne crops ra t.ie branch competition would, take place on Friday next, commencing wt the Waimate West Demonstration. Farm at 10.30 a.m., andi finishing at Mr J. Dalter’s farm on the Glenn Road. ]VIr J. W. Deem, of the Department of Agriculture, will officiate as judge. The Otakelio branch of the Union advised'that the judging of crops m its competition would be held on Satin day.
