A FATAL COLLISION.

* TRAM CAR AND MOTOR CAE, (by TELEGRAPH PKEBB ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Feb. G. At Onehunga about midr.ight, a tram car which was proceeding to the terminus, when rounding a bend collided head-on with a motor-car driven by Leonard Charles Vincent, junior. Vincent got the .full force of the impact, and his death must have been practically instantaneous. One side of the motor car was stripped off and the front was badly battered. The front of the Irani was slightly damaged. Frank Lovelock, the only other occupant of the motor car, was thrown out, but was not injured. He was subsequently arrested. The tram motorman states that his vehicle was moving slowly and that the motor ear swung round the corner at a fast pace and crashed into the front of the tram, which had almost stopped.
