AN ENJOYABLE TIME

Members of the South Taranaki team tliat went to Marton to play Raugitikei report having had a good afternoon in Marton, where they were given a very cordial welcome by the men' oi Itangitikei. The weather broke badly at Wanganui and after telephoning Marton they decided to stay until a further message was received. About midday the journey was continued woi'd being received that the had improved. They reached Marton' in time to commence play at 1.30 and had a most enjoyable afternoon’s cricket. A quick trip home after the match concluded a very interesting day. Such trips undoubtedly do a lot of'good for the game. TEAMS FOR. SATURDAY. Okaiawa team to play Manaia. at Manaia on Saturday: Thomas, Pratt, Crawford, Betts (3), Linn, Atkins, Harrison, Le Fleming, Penny.
