Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as under: We have received the following cablegram from our London bouse under date 3rd inst.:— Butter: Choicest 1765, exceptionally good 178 s; market very slow. Australian, IGBs to 170 s; Danish ,188 s. Cheese: First grade. 100 s to 105 s; market is quiet.
