SOON OVER
REVOLT IN PORTUGAL. LASTS TWENTY-FOUR HOURS. ORDER NOW RESTORED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LISBON, Feb. 4. A revolt lasting twenty-four hours broke out in Portugal, the revolutionaries threatening Lisbon. One hundred and twenty prisoners were taken, including Ala.jor Almeida, whq was in command of two batteries of artillery concentrated on Alma-da, opposite Lisbon, which fired a number of shells towards the capital, injuring fifteen people and damaging a number of bowses. The fortress at San Jorge replied vigorously. The duel busted for three hours. A rigorous state of .siege was established. Order has now been restored, and the leaders have been imprisoned on a cruiser.
