NATIVES RESENT PROPOSALS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Feb. 3, 1.13 p.m. CAPETOWN, Feb. 2. The Colour Bar Bill, debarring natives from following skilled occupations in the mires and certain industries, has passed its second reading by <SB to 46. At a mass meeting of natives at Johannesburg, the speakers threatened a general strike of natives if the Premier’s segregation policy was adopted. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
