AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE.

A conference of representatives of the Auckland and Wellington university colleges- was held yesterday to- discuss matters relating to the establishment of an agricultural college for the Norh Island. Reports- will be submitted for the governors of the two institutions.
YOUXG WOMAN INJURED.
AUCKLAND, Feb. 3
A young woman was found on the railway crossing at Mt. Albert at midnight suffering from injuries to her head. She was removed to the hospital. .She had escaped from, the Woolf Home at the mental hospital.
YOUNG MAN MISSING
AUCKLAND, Feb. 3
Geo, Angus, aged 23, employed by Milne and Ohoyce and Co., as an upholsterer, has been missing since noon on Monday, when he left work at the Grand Hotel.
SUPREME COURT
AUCKLAND. Feb. 3
■At the Supreme Court, Lincoln Evans Turner, for the forgery and uttering a. cheque of £2O at Da.rgaville, was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment and his return, to the status of an habitual criminal was ordered.
