THE DOATINION ASSOCIATION. INTERESTING REMARKS. At the reception of British bowlers in Dunedin, Professor Maxwell Walker, in proposing the toast of “The Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association,” said that bowlers should never forget that the game was being controlled by men who were deeply interested in the success of the movement. Every executive had at heart the best interests of bowling. The Dominion Association had arranged a system of tournament play which was second to none, in fact it had almost reached perfection. Mr. F. Afeadowcroft (immediate past president of the Association), in reply, said tho Association had been formed in September, 1913. It now had 15,000 members. At the inception there were 198 clubs. There were now 253. Interest in bowling had deepened.
