ms DEVOTION TO DUTY. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT TOKIO. Jan. 28. Viscount Kato, the Prime Minister, whose death was announced yesterday, developed pneumonia on Wednesday night. He was untiring in liis devotion to duty, despite medical advice, and this -resulted in overstrain, leaving him no reserve strength to combat the illness. Cabinet lias formally resigned. Air Walcatsuki succeeds Viscount Kato in the presidency of th e Kensai fvai. or Government Party.—Reuter.
