The body of John Maloney, aged 80, was found in the Wnihopai River yesterday afternoon. Maloney resided with his daughter in South Invercargill and had been missing since Monday morning. The police searched all that night without success. Deceased hai been in the habit of going off by himself. An inquest will be held.—P.A.
