IMPORTATION OP FOWL WHEAT. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 26. At the present time fowl wheat may be imported from Australia in limited quantities, duty free. It is understood that this concession will terminate at the end of the present month, with the result that the Government is almost certain to be approached to continue to permit this class of wheat to come in duy free. NAME OBJECTED TO. WELLINGTON, Jan. 26. A telegram recently appeared from Auckland referring to a religious sect under the name of Cooneyites. The Press Association is -requested to say that strong objection is taken to this name, for which there is no foundation. SHOT WHILE PLAYING WITH REVOLVER. AUCKLAND, Jan. 26. William James Webb, aged 131 years, accidentally shot himself while playing with two revolvers, one of which was discharged. The bullet passed through two fingers of the left hand, entered his mouth and lodged at the back of his head. He was operated on in the hospital. His condition is serious.
