The work of raising the Bluff oystering vessel Loyalty, which was accidentally sunk by explosion beside the BlufE wharf several months ago, is now being undertaken by the Bluff Harbour Board (states the Southland News'). A wire rope fastened to the wharf has been cast under the vessel’s bow, ard connected with the hoist of the board’s large rock-breaking punt. As the tide rose, the forepart of the vessel was raised sufficiently to enable the ropes to be passed underneath. It is hoped to float the Loyalty to the head of the bay for inspection and repair. Orders are whirling ia at a great rate for ‘‘No-Rubbing Laundry Help.” A I/- packet does 7 washings beautifully. —Advt.
