QUOTATIONS FROM BURNSIDE. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, Jan. 20. The feature of the Burnside stock sales to-day was the reduction in the prices for most classes of sheet* and the poor quality of the fat cattle entry. There was a large yarding of the latter class, but the supply or prime ox beef was sparse. Sheep. —Extra fine heavy wethers brought 41s to about 465, medium from 30s 6d to 22s 6d, light arid unfinished to 28s Od; prime ewes went at 30s to 34s Gd ; medium from about 25s to 275. until the finish of the sale, when orices receded a- shade. Cattle. —Prime bullocks brought from .617 10s to £2O, medium from £l4 10s to £ls 15s, light. £lO to £l2; prime cows and heifers made from £lO to £l2 10s; medium, £7 10s to £9 10s; others, from £4 to £7.

Lambs,-—Prices showed little change, nrime lambs being gold on a basis of from 8-Jd to 9.U1 per lb. Pigs were in large supply. There was a fair demand, all lines being eventu--11!v cleared.
