AFFORESTATION.
SOUTH AUSTRALIAN PROJECT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGH P. (Received Jan. 16, 12.47 ,p.m.) ADELAIDE, Jan. 16. The State Premier (Mr Gunn) has prepared an important scheme for afforestation during the next decade, involving an expenditure of £2-50,000. The planting tvill be done- on the southeastern portion of the State, where the land is considered to be most suitable for such an undertaking.
