ORDERS FROM AMERICA. NEW EVIDENOeTcXF THE TRADE REVIVAL. LONDON, Nov. 19. Orders for 350,000' (tons' of coal have been received in South Wales from Canada and! the United States as a consequence of the American coal strike. The demand: isi chiefly for anthracite, and Welsh shippers believe that mueh of tills business wjdl become permanent. Only first grade coal—vastly superior toi the best American anthracite —is being sent, and the price compares favourably mill American quotations. There is a pronounced revival in the iron and steel trade in North Yorkshire and Tee-side. Employment"-has been found for nearly 800 1 men at the Aeklam steel works, near Middlesborough, which have been re-started.
