The Dominion Council of the New Zealand Bowling Association met tonight, Mr H. F. M. Mercer (Dunedin) presiding. I Mr F. J. Tasker, Wellington, wrote declining to pay a. line of £5 for defaulting at the tournament last year, as he had been too ill to play. A notice of motion was given that at the September meeting the fine be remitted. ’ The question of adapting a new badge, tne design of which was received, was held over till the annual meeting, as was also the remit from the South Canterbury Centre that all stamps for bowl-testing prior to 1924 be declared illegal. Owing to present circumstances, the council decided to take no action in the proposal to play the New Zealand v. England test match during the present tournament. It was decided that the model rules and conditions governing all tournaments be compiled bv the executive council. It was* agreed that the North Island rinks competing at the .Australian carnival should travel under, the auspices of the association. It was decided to adopt the Wellington Centre’s suggestion that an international association of the British Ouiiiumweaßh of Nations he formed with the object of playing international games in the different countries in turn annually, if possible, and it was lesolved to enter into negotiations overseas. A revised list of the rides was adopted. the most important being the cutting out of the 1913 stamp.
