It involves formal recognition that the building on AG. 'l’rorev’s land encroaches on Granville Street .just one and a half inches and the lease, for ten dollars a year, is ex peeled to protect title to the building. Though built in the early SHFs the k fact that the building was over the Ht street line only developed in making accurate resurvey. Consequently lease of the area, 1A inches by 31 feet, from the city was sought. In recent years a number of similar cases have come to light and there are sever'! leases now m existence granted by the city to protect owners.
