In the tournament for the OxfordCani bridge Golf Society president’s putter, the first. round results included: St. Royaii defeated Gillies (the New Zealander), holder, two and one. In tlie second round Wethered beat Tolley seven and six. TOURNAMENT AT LOS ANGELES. NEW YORK, Jan. 9. At Los Angeles Espinosa and Eraser, 08, tied for first place in the first eigliteen-holc qualifying round in the thousand dollars open golf tournament of Southern California. Kirkwood tied with Walls for second place with 70.
