The British bowlers arrived this morning, and play against eight Manawatu Centre rinks this afternoon. They leave for Wellington to-morrow. VISIT OF BRITISH TEAM. IMPRESSIONS OE LOCAL MEN. The Hawera players who took part in the match against the British touring team report having had a most interesting time and having enjoyed also meeting the players from overseas. They stated that the members of the party were altogether a fine crowd, thoroughly sporting, and evidently chosen not altogether for their plav, for they include many men wellknown in their own country.
