Davies defeated Purdy, Aliller defeated Hicks, Belling defeated Fairburn. The unfinished game, Miller v. Davies, was not completed when the time arrived for the presentation of the prizes and Davies then resigned. The final position of the players is as under : I urdy 4. Miller 4. Davies 6.1.
