GREEK DICTATOR.
UNIFYING THE REPUBLIC. WHAT HE PLANS TO DO. BY CABLE -PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. ATHENS, Jan. 5. After a meeting of the Cabinet the Prime Minister (General Pangaloe), who recently announced his intention of establishing a military dictatorship in Greece, issued a proclamation to the nation, declaring that the Government had borne with equanimity insults, jibes, even attempts at revolution, but all hopes of agreement with a view to facilitating the restoration of normal political life has been banished by the unpatriotic attitude of the leaders of the opposition during the dispute between* Greece and Bulgaria, when they slanderously accused the Government of deliberately attacking Bulgaria. General Pangalos adds that he will proceed resolutely to carry out his programme for the unification of the Republic and the entry of the country, by means of free elections, into a healthy and normal Parliamentary life. He hopes to have the support of all sound elements in the nation.
