A stop-Avork meeting of Avorkers engaged at the Waingawa freezing works Avas held yesterday, Mr A. McLeod. secretary of the Wellington Freezing Workers’ Union, and Mr Semple being present. After tAvo hours’ discussion the toi--1 owing resolution AA'as unanimously carried: “That this stop-Avork meeting of Masterton freezing workers wholeheartedlA' supports the Canterbury demands for increased rates, believing them to be reasonable and just, aud, further, pledges to take A\'hate\ T er action is deemed advsiable in support or gam * m It- Avas further agreed by resolution that no men Avill go south until the dispute is settled.
