The Marconi Company lias announced the conclusion of an agree, meat with the Postmaster-General, enabling the company to conduct services with nine additional European countries and all foreign countries outside Europe, in addition to the four European countries and the United States, with which the company is already operating. This agreement will enable the company to proceed with the establishment of a world-wide service. . . The directors are of the opinion that the beam services between Britain, Canada and: South Africa will be ready for working in April, -and between India and' Australia about the middle of August. The company is also constructing stations to connect Portugal and her colonies, and to link Portugal with the rest of the world. —Reuter.
