TELFGR APHTC COMMUNICATION INTERRUPTED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 4. The iStvret-ary oi thfc G.P.O. has rereived the following te'egram from the Superintendent at Apia: ‘Noon. Just completed temporary repairs to the aerials, brought down in a hurricane. Land wires are down and the roads blocked. It is understood that the Lady Roberts is on a reef and that other launches were wrecked, but we liaA'e no authentic information yet. Tutuila reports that the Government s •iff r-cr-’ i.ousos were b own down there.”
