The Cricket Board o-f Control resolved to endeavour to arrange for the next English tea-m to visit Australia in 1927-28. The invitation of the, South African Cricket Association for the Australian team to play there when returning from England was declined, as it'was considered the strain would be too great after a' -strenuous tour.

Questions in -connection with the covering of the wicket and a -bonus to test /players, which had been referred to the States by the Board were allowed to lapse owing to lack of unanimity -among the States.
