STEAMER IN DISTRESS.
CAUGHT BY A HURRICANE. BY CABLE—PEERS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, Dec. 30. A wireless message intercepted at Land’s End indicated that the steamer Coronado, en route from Avonmouth to Jamaica, is in need of assistance. The message states that the vessel is in a raging hurricane. There are on board 102 officers and men and 54 passengers. The passengers include Lord and Lady Invereairn, Sir Archibald and Lady Edmond,stone. and the Bishop of Jamaica.
